Role of SakanOujda

SakanOujda is a local real estate listings platform in Oujda. It is neither a real estate agency nor a broker, it does not carry out transactions and it is not a party to agreements made between visitors and advertisers.

Using the site

Browsing listings and contacting an advertiser does not require an account. An account is required to publish a listing: a name, an email address and a phone number are requested, and the email address is verified by a code.

Publishing listings

• Individuals and real estate agencies can publish their properties.
• Publishing is currently free.
• Listings are published immediately, without prior verification by SakanOujda.
• The advertiser provides the title, description, price, location, photos and their contact details.

Advertiser's responsibility

The advertiser is responsible for the information and photos they publish, and for their accuracy.

Administration's role

The SakanOujda administration can intervene on listings, for example by removing them, notably following a report.

Deletion by the advertiser

An advertiser can delete their own listings from their account area.

Contact and transactions

Contact between visitor and advertiser takes place directly, using the details available on the listing (WhatsApp or phone). Exchanges, visits, payments and contracts take place between them, without SakanOujda's involvement.

Safety tips

These tips are also shown on listing pages:

• Always visit the property in person before making any payment.
• Never send money before signing a contract.
• Verify the seller's identity and ownership documents.
• Use official channels for financial transactions.

Reporting a listing

On a listing page, the “Report Property” button lets you report it (login required).

Verified agency

A “Verified agency” is a distinction granted manually by SakanOujda to a real estate agency. It does not mean that every listing or every property published by the agency has been verified by SakanOujda.
